Masylant is a company providing marketing services primarily for the automotive industry. We specialize in SEO, Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns, podcast production and publishing, as well as managing social media profiles. Why did they choose the Chilliflex office in Łódź? Read our interview with the founder of Masylant.
Chilliflex:
Good morning, Marcin. Tell us about your decision and choice of office in the Chilliflex office in Łódź?
Marcin Wolski:
Good morning. The answer is quite broad and could take us half a day, because the seed of the idea to move into an office building was planted back in 2012. I remember that year well – near where I lived at the time, a modern office building for a large corporation was built. Every day, returning home from university, I would look at it and repeat to myself: “One day I’ll run my own small business in a place like that.”
Chilliflex:
You came to view our office in Łódź in the Brama Miasta building in 2025. So, what were you doing between that first vision in 2012 and now?
Marcin Wolski:
My professional career led me to full‑time, on‑site employment for several years, so I didn’t feel the need for my own office until later. A strong, real need reappeared years later, when I decided to start a separate business focused on marketing services for the automotive industry.During the first year we visited all our clients in person. I believed it was essential to get hands‑on with the products we were promoting and to build relationships with the people selling them. But it quickly turned out that, while I or my team had time for scheduled meetings, they often dragged on far longer than expected sometimes three to four hours instead of two because managers or owners wanted to be present and staff kept getting interrupted by phone calls or customers walking into the showroom.
Chilliflex:
Go on, this gives us a clearer picture of your situation.
Marcin Wolski:
From the inside, it’s normal: when you start a new business, you usually start looking for your first contracts and visit potential customers. And this is where the classic mistake was made.
Chilliflex:
A mistake? What do you mean?
Marcin Wolski:
After spending a year visiting clients, two issues became clear. First, the long meetings caused by the clients’ own teams. Second and even more challenging constant “side requests”: “Could you give us quick advice on advertising?”, “Let’s have another coffee,” or “Since you’re here with a camera, can you record this for us?”
Chilliflex:
So you needed to break away from these extended visits, but also find a workspace outside of home?
Marcin Wolski:
Exactly. After months of working at client showrooms, coworking spaces, or from home, I realized it was time to find our own place. The search took weeks, because I’m naturally detail‑oriented: first impressions mattered not just when entering the office but from the moment I grabbed the door handle. If I didn’t feel the synergy, I’d turn around and leave within a minute.
Chilliflex:
What did you find at Chilliflex Łódź that convinced you to start rental discussions?
Marcin Wolski:
There wasn’t a single factor that disappointed me. I found the listing on an ad portal and called the contact provided. The person I spoke to was competent and straightforward and importantly, it wasn’t a broker but a Chilliflex receptionist, who quickly understood my needs and even guided me on where to park and how to access the building. I felt taken care of before I even arrived. When I toured the offices, the shared spaces, and saw the elegant, stylish interior, I realized there was no point searching further. Yet I expected the same issues I’d seen elsewhere.
Chilliflex:
What kind of issues?
After visiting many offices and dealing with property brokers, I had a mental checklist. What disappointed me about Chilliflex’s competitors was their lack of flexibility:
a) Limited access hours. If I visited during reception hours (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.), there was no problem. But on public holidays or weekends, I had to request security clearance days in advance. For me, if I rent an office, I should have unrestricted access.
b) Parking and public transport. The distance from the building entrance to parking or bus stops was key – not just for me, but for clients, employees, and contractors. If I had to explain, “Turn right, look for a spot between three nearby lots, then cross the patio and look for a Masylant sign,” I knew visitors would arrive stressed. Starting every meeting with “I know it’s hard to find us, but glad you made it” wasn’t acceptable.

Chilliflex:
Is there anything else you consider a unique advantage of Chilliflex?
Marcin Wolski:
Yes, the service standard and clear formal procedures. I first worked with Monika at Chilliflex Łódź, where I’m based now, but I also visited Chilliflex Gdańsk and received equally professional service with clear instructions on access, meeting rooms, and even where to find great coffee.
Chilliflex:
For us, that’s the standard, not necessarily a unique selling point.
Marcin Wolski:
Maybe so from the inside, but as I said, I’m very strict about my surroundings and dislike mediocrity. I toured many places before finding You. In my view, Chilliflex could proudly use the slogan: “The best or nothing.”
Chilliflex:
If you had to name five factors that most impact productivity at Masylant and explain to a friend why it’s better to work from a serviced office rather than home or a client’s showroom what would they be?
Marcin Wolski:
First of all – The 24/7 access. It’s crucial to know not only the office but also meeting rooms are available in the evenings.
Secondly – One contract, one payment. A predictable monthly cost with no extra hassle no checking electricity or water meters, no separate waste disposal fees.
Thirdly – Excellent location. Right in the heart of Łódź, next to the famous Piotrkowska Street full of restaurants for lunch breaks, with Łódź Fabryczna train station nearby, tram stops at the entrance, and plenty of underground and surface parking easy for everyone to find.
Two more aspects that are an advantage for me are:
● Ability to “disconnect.” I can go fully offline and focus on tasks without distractions.
● Separation of work and home life. I love what I do, but leaving everything related to marketing services at the office keeps my personal and professional life balanced.
Chilliflex:
Thank you, Marcin, for sharing such a detailed story. We wish you success both personally and professionally. Anything you’d like to add?
Marcin Wolski:
Since I work in marketing a broad field often reduced to “paid ads” – I’d like to stress that marketing is also about how employees communicate with clients, how products are presented in person or over the phone. One constant challenge in the digital world is customer reviews: we usually only post negative ones. I encourage everyone to share positive feedback too about the people you interact with and the environments you work in. Words of appreciation motivate higher standards and show companies their
work matters. Collect reviews, recommendations, and share them – they’re powerful.
